#Mission1642 Roadshow

After 13 years of living and traveling abroad, and completing my journey to all 195 countries in the world in 2025, I realized something deeply personal: while seeing the world changed me, there was still so much of my own country I had never truly rediscovered. That realization sparked a return home with a new purpose, to explore the Philippines not just as a Filipina, but as a global traveler. Mission #1642 was born from this desire to rediscover our cities and communities, and to showcase them not only to Filipinos at home, but also to OFWs, former Filipinos, and their friends abroad, inviting them to come back and experience the Philippines with fresh eyes.

Mission #1642 is a nationwide advocacy journey to visit all 1,642 cities and municipalities of the Philippines, celebrating our stories, culture, and potential while empowering Filipino students to build globally competitive careers through the digital nomad lifestyle. Through school talks, workshops, mentorship, and the Student Nomad Club, students gain the skills, confidence, and mindset to work remotely, travel responsibly, and dream beyond borders, starting from home, and extending to the world.

Hi, I’m Kach!

I’ve traveled to all 195 countries in the world and now I’m on a new mission closer to home. I’m exploring all 1,642 cities and municipalities of the Philippines, hoping to inspire students to see how rich and exciting our own country is, and to dream bigger about exploring the world beyond it.

In 2023, I decided to return to the Philippines, grounded at home but still pursuing my mission to experience all 195 countries around the world.

Dipnay, El Nido

In Dipnay, North El Nido, Mission #1642 blended tourism, co-living, and remote work to create new income opportunities for locals. Students, mothers, and unemployed youth were trained to earn online, host digital nomads, and manage community projects.

Proceeds from #MadeInDipnay reusable bags funded Starlink internet, solar lights, and other resources for over 20 households, turning the village into a potential digital nomad hub.

Magsaysay, Misamis Oriental

Mission 1642 launched its first remote work training program in Barangay Tama, Magsaysay, supporting students, indigenous youth, and returning OFWs. Through virtual assistant training, donated equipment, and Starlink internet, the community was introduced to remote work as a real way to earn globally while staying at home.

This pilot showed that opportunity does not require leaving the country, but can start within local communities.

In Universities

Mission #1642 is already making waves across the Philippines. In 2025, Kach was invited to speak at the University of Santo Tomas and the Lyceum of the Philippines University, sharing not only her journey of visiting all 195 countries but also the lessons behind it: perseverance, resourcefulness, and turning the Philippine passport into a gateway rather than a limitation. These talks inspired students to see their skills, heritage, and identity as tools to break barriers, making global mobility feel attainable for ordinary Filipinos.”
